Recycle
You can retouch your old wooden cabinets by sanding them down to bare wood and staining them another color.
If you are getting new cabinets you could still use the trimmings from the older cabinets and by recycling them you could save in the process.
Save money
You could save money by trying to purchase some items such as fixtures online through e-bay.
